Support » Theme: Estate » Estate Theme site wide font color

  • Resolved chrisz1

    I am using the Estate theme, and I have been looking in the css file to find the site wide font color tag, but I have not been able to find it.

    I changed the background color of the site to black and would like to change the site wide font color to #CCC.

    Thanks in advance for your help. I appreciate your time and consideration.

  • Hello Again,

    I did try to change the site wide color on line 165, but that didn’t seem to change it.

    textarea {
    color: #CCC;
    font-family: “Helvetica Neue”, “Helvetica Neue”, Helvetica, Arial, “Lucida Grande”, sans-serif;
    font-size: 14px;
    line-height: 1.5em;

    Thanks again:)

    Found it. Line 926.

    I was confused because next to that color was a comment that read:

    /* WordPress Images */

    Thanks again for a wonderful template.

    Note that any changes you make to theme files will be overwritten and lost when the theme is updated. It’s recommended that such changes be made in a Child Theme or using a Custom CSS plugin if the theme does not have a custom CSS option.
