Support » Plugin: WP/LR Sync » Essential complement to Lightroom

  • I have a lot of images on my site (italy-cycling-guide.info). I’ve been going through the process of uploading larger versions of about 1800 images and copying them to Amazon S3. Without WP-LR sync this would have been a time-consuming nightmare, but with WP-LR sync it has been pretty straightforward. It’s going to be an essential part of my workflow from now on.

The other benefit that I have discovered is that I can use a Lightroom catalogue to store images from places like Wikimedia Commons, and upload and synch with WP-LR Sync. I can use Lightroom to crop or adjust the image, and as Lightroom edits non-destructively I don’t need different versions cluttering up my hard drive.

I have had a couple of issues with the plugin and I’ve been really impressed by how fast the developer has replied and sorted things out.

Thanks for your review Andy! Lightroom can be useful in many ways, I only use it for my own photos but that’s interesting you are using it for images coming from Wikimedia Commons.

I am glad you like the plugin, and I will always make it better 🙂
