I’m trying to use EB slider on my home page of my website using wordpress TT4 theme. Set up is Image with Content; Text align bottom. This all looks correct when previewing the page i.e. text appears at the bottom of the image – but in live version and viewing on all browsers the text is displaying below the image (for desktop, tablet and mobile). This was previously displaying correctly – i.e. text bottom of image was working well. I have checked settings and global styles and there does not seem to be any conflict. Has there been a recent update affecting this feature? Can someone offer me a simple solution (some CSS I can try to apply?). I am not a coder nor a website developer – so I need a pretty basic solution to this. Many thanks!
Hi @monkey23456 , Greetings! Sorry for any inconvenience that you faced.
That does seem strange. Could you please follow this guide: https://d.pr/GxR2uP and check again? If possible, please share the page URL with us so that we can look into the issue and provide a fix where needed.
Many thanks for your reply. I have tried the ‘Asset Regeneration’ and this has made no difference. I do have one piece of custom CSS applied to the block cover as my drop down menu was being cut off: .wp-block-cover { overflow: visible; } I also tried removing this and tried again and this has not solved the problem (menu is again cut off without this custom css) . My website is not live so I cannot share the URL. Is there any other way I can share the info you require?
We’ve tried to reproduce the issue but were unable to do so. You can check that out here: Screencast. Please make sure you’re using the most recent version of Essential Blocks.
Additionally, could you please share the issue with a screenshot or screen recording of your editor and live page? This will allow us to check the issue thoroughly and assist you properly.
If you’d like, you can also share the JSON file of your page. Here’s a screencast showing how to get the JSON file: Screencast.

We haven’t received a response since our last reply. Could you please confirm if the issue persists? This will help us provide the right assistance and resolve it quickly.
Sorry for my late response. Yes – the issue still persists as per my previous message. Just to confirm: I have Essential Blocks 5.3.2 (all updates applied).
If I understand correctly from your replies – this is something specific to my wordpress website that is causing the problem as slider should have no issues using with TT4 theme?
Screenshots (hopefully this works) below: 1st is ‘editor’ view with the text position correct and as specified. 2nd is ‘live’ website view on desktop (but it’s the same on mobile )- text appears below slider.
Not sure my screenshots worked. I created the JSON file of my page but I do not understand how to attach this to the above message – please provide instructions how to do this. Many thanks!
Having gone through altering every setting, the issue seems to happen when choosing general settings, ‘custom height’. I had ‘custom height’ selected and ‘image height’ 450px and text appears below the image. When I deselect ‘custom height’ the text appears in the correct position, i.e. at the bottom of the image, with correct positioning of dots below the image. It seems 600px is the minimum image height that still allows the text to appear correctly positioned? Is there any way I can custom the image height smaller than 600px without this issue persisting?
We have not heard from you since our last conversation. Could you please let us know if you are still having this issue? So that we could try to solve your issue.
No. It’s not sorted. Don’t want to start a new ticket on this issue as you suggested and go through all this again. (I am trying desperately to get my new business website up and running!). So I’ve installed another plugin Smart Slider 3 which work absolutely as it should with WordPress TT4 theme. Thank you for all your help though.
