Escaping of apostrophe in "From Name"

The ‘From Name’ has a slash added where the name contains an apostrophe (e.g. “Bill O’Toole” becomes “Bill O\’Toole”) and when an email is sent out the name used contains that slash. Presumably the value needs un-escaping when read back from the database(?)

Seen using v1.1.1, I’ve had reports that this has been seen in at least one previous version too.
