Escaped apostrophes

    Hi rtcunningham,

    I’ve just tested on a clean install of WordPress and cannot reproduce this problem – if I post a comment with apostrophes, quotation marks etc. there are no slashes being added when it ends up in the moderation queue after the captcha is completed.

    Have you recently installed any other comment-related plugins that may be interfering?

    No, no other comment-related plugin. I removed one recently (no page comments) because WordPress 4.3 turns off page comments by default.

    Page comments are also an option in the Hueman theme. I’ll check to make sure it’s off and wait for another comment. I don’t get them often.
