Escape Pod – SF podcast magazine

Hi all,

So. I’ve started a podcast ‘zine. It’s called Escape Pod, and each week we present audio readings of contemporary *fun* science fiction, fantasy, and horror short fiction. We’re located here:

We’re also podcasting’s first paying market. We pay $20 for non-exclusive audio rights, so if you’re a writer in search of a market, check out our submission guidelines.

On the WordPress side, we’re a fairly basic 1.5 installation running Ben de Groot’s Neptune theme. I’ve got a friend working on some custom logos, so the generic planet banner won’t be there for long. I’ve found that WordPress’s built-in enclosure facility does everything I need for podcasting. To avoid confusion, I stripped away links to the RSS 1.0 and Atom feeds, and I’ve aliased and rerouted my RSS 2.0 feed through FeedBurner for statistics tracking purposes.
