# Errors with local install

 * Hi there,
 * I’m trying to do a local install of wordpress 2.5.1 under windows XP pro 64 bits,
   but I keep having this error message :
    _Error establishing a database connection_
   I’ve tried both with easyphp and XAMPP, my wp_config.php looks alright and all
   should be working fine. I was wondering if it could not have to do with the IIS
   service which it is recommended to turn off, but I can’t find how to do it. Any
   help or suggestion is welcome. Thanks 🙂
