# Errors with international rates…

 * I’m having some errors reported when doing international shipping.
 * It seems to work fine on the Checkout Page, it’s the Cart page which brings the
   error up.
 * I am getting an error saying “Please enter a valid postcode / ZIP.” for international
   shipments. The particular example I’m troubleshooting is a shipment to Alagoas,
   Brazil in zip code 50703. It properly calculates the shipping dollar amount and
   goes through, but the error message that appears is going to be very concerning
   to any potential customer. Any idea what might be going on here?
 * It worked fine entering in details for Montreal Canada. I tried another address
   in Brazil (Rio de Janiero) and got the error again. I did Tokyo Japan and had
   no problem I tried Cork Ireland and it said no shipping methods are available
   on the screen but there was no actual ‘error message’. The ‘error message’ appeared
   when I entered in the Brazil information.

 * The problem is that you need to provide the complete zip code as shown in the
   screenshot attached This should resolve the problem.
