Unfortunately I was also moving house at the time so I installed XAMPP light and developed it just on my local machine as I had no net. Now I need to move across the website from my machine to his web server. I tried to do this yesterday using export. php and trying to download the file. This is going to be fixed in version 3.0.1. You can download this file [http://core.trac.wordpress.org/browser/branches/3.0/wp-admin/export. php] and put it in your /wp-admin directory.
