Hi. I made some changes to my php configuration file today which increased my memory limit. But now I have some error messages across the dashboard with this plugin. I have tried deleting the plugin via FTP and reinstalling. I have tried deleting the pop ups. But still I get the error below. Any advise?

Warning: session_start(): open(/var/cpanel/php/sessions/ea-php72/sess_e57044c8ee1e2e6ad8d049c65f581206, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2) in /home/botanicamedicine/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-popup/lib/wpmu-lib/inc/class-thelib.php on line 145

    Hello @willpower1

    Hope you’re doing well!

The first warning shows No such file or directory, so some plugin’s file may be missing. Would you please re-install the plugin and see if the warnings still show?

What changes you’ve added to the PHP version on your end? Both warning Failed to read session data: files (path: /var/cpanel/php/sessions/ea-php72) in are related to these changes.

    Please advise,

    Cheers,
    Nastia

Hi. Yes I did try a reinstall of the plugin.
The changes made to the PHP version was an increase in max post size.
Also the wpconfig.php wordpress file had its memory limit increased.

    Hello @willpower1

I tested Hustle in a local setup using PHP v.7.2.0 and couldn’t replicate these warning messages.

Could you please double check that there isn’t any other plugin/theme causing this?
The easiest way would be to create a fresh installation in the same server and only install Hustle. Enable WP_DEBUG, use a default theme like TwentySeventeen and check debug log information again.

    Looking forward for your feedback!
    Warm regards,
    Dimitris

I tried to remove the 2 remaining database tables that were sitting on the database even after the plugin was deleted. I thought this might help a clean install. But when I di a re install there was a whole lot more errors showing on the top of the site regarding those missing tables.
Can you advise on the best way to do a complete reinstall of this plugin please?

    Hey @willpower1,

    Hope you’re well.

After that two tables, you need to check the wp_options table for “hustle_” prefixed options too. But if there is a conflict with other plugins or theme, clean install can’t solve. So please test plugin conflict after trying a clean install.

We haven’t heard back from you, so I’m marking this topic as resolved. Feel free to post back here with any updates and we can re-open it and carry on troubleshooting, if needed.

    Thank you,
