Errors in latest version of plugin

    Hi
    Upgraded to latest version from 5.x, update run OK, now when I try to save a new list I get:

    Notice: Undefined variable: custom_fields in /home/xxxxx/wp-content/plugins/yikes-inc-easy-mailchimp-extender/admin/class-yikes-inc-easy-mailchimp-extender-admin.php on line 2502

    Deactivated, went back to 6.0.2.1, re-activated but still the same, the only thin I can think is different is I clicked “Custom Messages” (but didn’t change anything) before I saved?

    Any suggestions?

    Hi bob,

    What version of PHP are you currently running on the site? You shouldn’t be seeing any errors. It sounds like one of the edit form fields is not being submitted, and thus throwing an error.

    I will take a look and see if I can come up with a fix for you. I am currently working on a 6.0.2.3 patch to get out there to resolve a weird issue with the ‘hide label’ option being duplicated on interest groups.

    Are you at all familiar with code to test out a temporary solution that I can provide?

    HI Bob,

    I will be releasing a patch today that will take care of this issue. I had another user grant me access to their site temporarily so I can take a look. When I get that rolled out I will post here and close out the issue.

    Thanks for the update, but it still does it on just one site, and I think I’ve realised another little difference, this site is a copy of another, so I’m going to refresh the DB and see if that fixes it, it maybe that the original site had been updated, but this one still had the old plugin for a short while… perhaps when it re-ran the data update something went wrong?

    Hi Onebob,

    I’ve just pushed out the v6.0.2.4 release which should now resolve the issue on your end. I’m still unsure of why one site would work and the other wouldn’t, but now the site not working should function just fine.

    Give things a shot, and let us know how things are working on your end.
