To do this, just go in Settings menu -> Permalinks, and click save changes. The page that has the error is here: * /news/ * The 404 error is below. * I followed the instructions regarding the permalinks and it did not fix the problem. I want a simple blog page with the calendar, archives, categories, etc. as this page currently shows. but the left side (blog posts) is showing the 404 error. * I do not want blog posts on the home page, I would like the blog posts to show on the “NEWS” page. In reading settings, set the HOME page to be static and Posts page: “news” selected from the drop down. I refreshed the news page and still getting the 404 error. I created a post and the 404 error is gone. I didn’t realize I needed to post in order to fix the problem.
