 * Hi I have a slight issue I’m trying to migrate a word press site I have a 4.6.4
   image and I need to transfer it to new hosting and only 4.7.3 is available when
   I do the migration I end up with the following errors
 * the issue is that we have a ws 4.6 backup using wp-ali-in one migration plugin
   and when we restore it to a 4.7 site we get the error
 * the site backup is at [https://www.kelvincourt.scot/broken/](https://www.kelvincourt.scot/broken/)
 * Warning: http_build_query(): Parameter 1 expected to be Array or Object. Incorrect
   value given in /home/kelvinco/public_html/broken/wp-includes/Requests/Transport/

 * Also if I import it to a 4.6 WordPress it works, but if I then update the word
   press site to 4.7.3 then export it and import it to the new hosting provider (
   siteground) 4.7.3 we still get the errors.

 * Ok I’ve tried disabling the plugin by renaming the plugin folder under wp-content
   to plugin.deactive and I still can’t access the admin area but now the site is
   partially loading.

 * Hi Dave,
 * I think the error is not from the different WP versions but from different PHP
   versions between the hosting providers.
    What PHP version are you using on the
   two hostings? This might be something that siteground support can assist you
   with.

 * after much investigation, it appears the issue is due to the theme

 * Yes, the theme is indeed what is generating the error but you need to find the
   cause.
    I think it is from the different PHP versions between the two hosting
   providers. For example one is using PHP 5.x and the other one is using PHP 7.

 * changed php to 5.x and the theme still does not work seem the theme just does
   not work with WordPress 4.7.3

 * Ah that’s pity. Have you tried to contact the theme author, maybe they can help
   with it?

 * After a bit or research turns out the original author had just re branded the
   enfold theme and used this as a parent theme for their own theme. After buying
   enfold and editing the child theme to use it managed to get the site back.
