I recently migrated my clients site to GoDaddy from InMotion. Ever since, I’ve noticed a bunch of errors that come up in the backend.

Warning: array_map(): Argument #2 should be an array in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/src/actions/indexation/indexable-post-type-archive-indexation-action.php on line 154

Warning: array_diff(): Argument #2 is not an array in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/src/actions/indexation/indexable-post-type-archive-indexation-action.php on line 113

That was at the top of the page. This was at the bottom:

Thank you for creating with WordPress.

    Version 5.4.1

Warning: array_map(): Argument #2 should be an array in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/src/actions/indexation/indexable-post-type-archive-indexation-action.php on line 154

Warning: array_diff(): Argument #2 is not an array in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/src/actions/indexation/indexable-post-type-archive-indexation-action.php on line 113

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/src/actions/indexation/indexable-post-type-archive-indexation-action.php on line 77

Any idea how I can fix this?

  • Hi @databell96,

Thank you for reaching out. We apologize you are running into this issue.

While we are not completely sure what is causing these warnings, they might be coming from the migration in relationship with the new indexables release of 14.x and above. Can you confirm you are running the latest Yoast SEO 14.2 and that other plugins and themes are also up-to-date? If so, let’s troubleshoot.

Can you please try to do the following:

    1) Install the Yoast Test Helper plugin, found here https://wordpress.org/plugins/yoast-test-helper/
    2) Go to Tools → Yoast Test
    3) Click the Reset Indexables tables & migrations button.
    4) Go to SEO → Tools.
    5) Click the Start processing and speed up your site now button and let it complete.

Can you let us know if these warnings persist?

I had the same issue (with Siteground hosting) and the above procedure solved the problem.

@pecas thank you for letting us know that installing the Yoast Test Helper plugin and re-running the indexables process fixed the issue.

@databell96 could you confirm that resetting the Indexables tables & migrations and rerunning the Indexables process resolves the errors you’ve encountered?
