    Hi.
I used to have WP installed in a folder named wordpress in my webhotel. But then I had to write my URL an /wordpress to get to my site. So, I deleted it and installed it again right on my webhotel (not inside any folder). I get the error message “Not Found

The requested URL /wordpress/wp-login.php was not found on this server.” As if it was still inside that wordpress-folder. I am not able to login to my site anymore.
Anyone know how I solve this problem? Most grateful for reply 🙂

Did you use a fresh database?

What do you mean? All I did was to delete wp an install it.

I’m afraid that’s not something we can give you specific instructions for, as it varies from host to host. Try contacting yours and asking them for assistance with this.

    Are you still having problem?

If you reinstalled wordpress with fantastico it should use a new database for the new installation.

    Fantastico? What is that.
