I’m getting an error, off and on for the last few weeks. It’s not consistent, comes and goes, so turning plugins on & off may not be a reliable test. Never had it on any site before (I use GAD on 20 sites, and have for several years):
You called the draw() method with the wrong type of data

I’m using Google Analytics Dashboard for WP ver, 4.9.5. Just upgraded to WP 4.7.1. Sometimes I will login to the admin of a site and see the error, then navigate elsewhere in the site, then, come back to the dashboard and the error is gone. I can have one computer show the error and almost simultaneously another not.
Thank you for your help, Alin!

  • From symptoms and the error it could be generated by a library conflict. Can you check and confirm the followings:

    1. In the dashboard, are there other widgets (belonging to other plugins) displaying charts?

    2. Can you check the page source and post all the external JS resources loaded in your dashboard screen. Basically all the “.js” files loaded from a different domain than yours. You can use the search function of your browser and search for “.js”. Post them as they are, even if there are duplicates.

    https://www.gstatic.com/charts/loader.js
    https://d3dy5gmtp8yhk7.cloudfront.net/1.11/pusher.min.js?ver=1.5.8

Those are the only 2 not coming from the domain.
This is the page source when I’m looking at the dashboard of the site showing GADforWP. In this case, I was not getting the error: GADforWP was showing the data just fine.
    Thanks Alin

    Hi,

It doesn’t look to be a conflict.

Can you clear your browser cache or force a page refresh when it happens and see how it goes.

Also, please check the PHP error log for errors and warnings (jusr as an additional check).

Let me know how it goes.

I have refreshed the page to no avail in the past. This is happening on more than one computer. Nothing in the php error log now on one computer, and GADforWP dashboard is showing correctly this morning.
I’ll keep checking it to see what I can find in the php error log when I get the error upon viewing GADforWP.
    Thx!
