Error WP pop-ups

    WP Popups
    You just upgraded to WP Popups v2.1.4.4. We need to update the database and import your old popups. To start the migration choose which popups you want to import by clicking here.

    Thats the error i get. But when i click “clicking here” i get:
    Er heeft zich een kritieke fout voorgedaan op deze site. Controleer je site beheerder e-mail inbox voor instructies.

    I don’t know what to do. I already uninstalled the plugin, but that was not the trick.
    But: the plugin works fine so it’s an internal error, i think.

    Can you help?

    It seems you used the old version and the plugin it’s trying to import those popups because they exist in the database.

    To check the error you will need to get the error_log file from the hosting to see what’s the critical error about.

    If you don’t need to import those popup deleting them from the database should clear the issue.
    The easieast way would be activating the old popup plugin and sending them to trash

    I already removed the old plug-in, but that didn’t help.
    I will delete everything from the database.
    By the way, this version is the last one

    Yes, I’m referring to https://wordpress.org/plugins/popups/
    If you activate that plugin ( you may need to deactivate WPPOpups first) you should see some popup from it. Delete those popup or uninstall checking “delete all data” and then you should be able to use Wp Popups without issues.

    Yes, it works!
