    Hello,

Upon updating the plugin last night, I woke up to a white screen and unable to get to the admin. In researching, there was the error message below:

PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function eme_get_categories() in /home3/psthrfiv/public_html/wp-content/plugins/carry-hill-plugin/vc-addons/events-calendar/events-calendar.php on line 29

What can I do to get this error fixed, in a bit of a bind as this site is not being displayed until I can get this fixed.

Thanks so much for your help!

Events calendar is not Events Made Easy. Why would that plugin call eme_get_categories? Check line 29 in the mentioned file.

    Hello,

The error message was given to me by the hosting company but when I deactivate and reactivate each plugin, it’s Events Made Easy that’s giving me the white screen…every time. Is there a way you could look into this further? This is a suggested and given plugin by the Carry Hill theme.

    Thanks again,

    Kelli

A white screen usually indicates php problems. Which php version are you using? Anything above 5.3 should be ok.
Check your webserver logfiles for clues (errors) when activating EME, that should give you an indication too.

That did it! I was using version 5.2 so I updated to version 5.4!!

    Thanks so much!!
