Error with Twenty Ten: Theme Functions (functions.php)

I am getting the following message,

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘/’ in /home/my-name/public_html/my-site-name.com/wp-content/themes/twentyten/functions.php on line 471

Here’s how it happen,
I was trying to change or remove the “Posted on Date” on posts. Did some changes and nothing happened. I then cut the entire line bleow which calls this function. That’s when I first got the error, I tried pasting back the code but it will not take it, all I get is the error message even when I tried pasting the entire page, still nothing.

Can I get help resorting that file back to default?
