# Error with RSS Feeds

 * I get an XML error when i try to access my rss feeds, I’m using the German version
   of WordPress. What can I do to fix the problem?

 * The problem you have is extra blank lines at the top of the RSS file this makes
   it invalid xml as the xml identifier – `<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?
   >` must be on the first line of the file.
 * This maybe caused by a plugin or something else outputting blank lines at the
   top of every page.

 * just found my problem, i had a MS IE blocking code in the index.php, which was
   making these lines. Problem is resolved.
