error with previous entries link

Hi,
I have a problem with my installation. I now have enough posts up for WP to create a “previous entries” link at the bottom of the first page. However, the url generated by that link comes up as “http://www.talgard.com/kalem/~talgard.com/public_html/kalem/index.php?paged=2” when it should read “http://www.talgard.com/kalem/index.php?paged=2” all other links on the site work fine, it is just this one. How do I correct this?
