# Error with my WordPress

 * Greetings,
    New to the forums and new to WP.
 * I’ve installed WP on my site and I seem to be getting an error.
 * The WP is installed @ [http://www.proghiphop.com/wp/](http://www.proghiphop.com/wp/)
 * I’ve attempted to have the index file reside separately from the directory though.
 * When people go to the site [http://proghiphop.com](http://proghiphop.com) , the
   WP works fine.
 * When they visit [http://www.proghiphop.com](http://www.proghiphop.com) , the 
   following error message appears.
 * Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started
   at /home/idclan2/public_html/proghiphop/index.php:4) in /home/idclan2/public_html/
   proghiphop/wp/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 694
 * I know this is probably a very beginner mistake, and I apologize if its been 
   asked thousands of times. If you can point me to another thread, or a help file
   I would be very grateful.
