I have successfully installed WP on many sites in the past, and this is the first time I am running into this problem. Once I have dropped wordpress in my site directory with FTP & written the wp_config file, I get stuck in the installation process. On the username/password/email/privacy installation screen, it keeps coming up with the error message “you must provide an e-mail address,” even when all the information appears correct.
I’ve done some research and see that some people have had success with this by changing some code in the php.ini file. However, I have no idea where this file is or how to change it. I’m using Lunarpages for hosting, if that matters.
I see other people posting about the same thing, but very little solutions unfortunately.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!
