Hello @herky-fishbine ,
Glad you reached out, happy to help.
I’m seeing that warning in my PHP log when the Events beta feature is enabled even when I’m not using the Terms and Conditions block on my donation form, however, I’m not seeing an actual error.
Can you share:
- A screenshot of the error
- A link to the donation form that is generating the error
Thanks in advance! We look forward to guiding you to a resolution here! 🙂
UPDATED:
Error occurs even if using global terms, if those terms contain the word “from.”
Hello,
I am able to replicate the error even with the Events beta disabled. Steps to reproduce:
1. In Donation Form/Build
2. Add Billing Address fields
3. Add inline Terms and Conditions fields and choose Customize in Field Options.
4. Edit Agreement Text and Include the word “from” in the text.
5. Attempt to publish or save as draft.
The error does not occur if the Billing Address fields are not included above the Terms.
I do not see a way to attache a screen shot here. Provide an email address and I’ll send one.
I cannot provide a link to the form that is causing the error as the error occurs when attempting to publish the form.
Hello there,
Thanks for including the replication steps!
I’ve created a quick (silent) screencast showing how I edited the Terms and Conditions text to add the word “from”. In the video I’m using the “Custom” T&C setting for that form, however, I’ve also tested with the Global setting enabled and was not able to reproduce the error in either case.
Can you let me know if your steps differ from mine?
Also, can you send us your system info please? To do this, navigate to GiveWP > Tools > System Info (tab), click the button to Get System Report and copy/paste ALL of the text in your reply to us here. This is a (silent) screen video showing you were to find this information in your WordPress admin: https://www.loom.com/share/28139090d53c4fb5a26ea11dd04d0227
Thank you 🙂
Hello,
Those are exactly the steps that cause the error on my installation. This strongly suggests an overly aggressive security setting on my server. I’m going to track that down. I think we can consider to have eliminated this as a problem with the plugin.
Thank you for your help and keep up the excellent work!
Of course! It was our please to assist 🙂
