Error with Event Attendance Messages

    Even though you choose ” spots remaining (count down, only for events with limits) “, the plugin will still show ” guests attending (count up)”.

    Long time error with this plugin. Frustrating…

    Hey Torgrim,

    Sorry for any issue!

    Can you try updating to version 2.9.3 and let me know if you are still facing any issue? There was a problem with the changes needed to make the attendance count work with The Events Calendar 6.0+ that I believe will be resolved. If you are still having any trouble I’d be happy to help fix it!

    Thanks Craig!

    I updated, and it works – kind of.

    The problem is still for events with no limits. Then it outputs “Join X others”, when I would expect it to show nothing, or “No limit to the number of attendees for this event/Everyone can join!”.

    Ahh yes I see what you mean. This has actually worked this way since the plugin was created! I can see how it causes confusion though.

    I can provide a solution for you for now. I’m hesitant to change it since there may be some users relying on this working the way it does. I’ll have to think of a smart way to introduce the change.
