Clients site has custom theme and trying to install SEOPress but getting the following error
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare seopress_advanced_appearance_adminbar_option() (previously declared in /wp-content/plugins/wp-seopress/inc/functions/options.php:284) in /wp-content/plugins/wp-seopress/inc/functions/options.php on line 283
I have disabled all other plugins so it is not conflicting there, and if I switch over to twentysevventeen theme then all is fine so have isolated it to the theme.

The function doesnt exist in the theme so cannot see what could be causing the conflict, any ideas?

    Hi,
can you copy and paste the code of this file?
Can you try to remove and reinstall the plugin? (you will NOT lose any data)

I have removed, reinstalled and created a site on my local valet server so I can try and debug the theme/plugin.

No solution or info? Tried changing from Yoast to SEOPress, but looks like going back to Yoast. Thanks anyway

Sorry, I thought you had to come back to me after doing tests on your local installation. Do you still encounter the same error? Have you followed this installation guide?
