I had the same error and gave up on it.

Fix: in plugin view type in wp rollback , activate and install plugin.

Then rollback woocommerce to Version 3.2.6, after rollback it will ask you to activate plugin, go ahead.

You will not loose any data and site will be back up running. The error caused many of my pages to throw a 500 and actually broke my site.

Im not touching this update for a while!

    Hope this helps

Hello! But why did you mark it as resolved?
Look like it is bug in new version of WooCommerce.

    Hello everyone,
Posting this if it helps someone. We faced this issue in a website that we have worked for a client.

We tried different solutions and after a lot of hassle we found out that a plugin named “WooCommerce Poor Guys Swiss Knife” was the reason for the message. The plugin was out dated and discontinued. We disabled it and it was working fine again.

If you face this issue, you can
    (1) Disable all the plugins on a staging copy except WooCommerce or just the bare minimum. The issue should go away.
    (2) Then try to re-enable plugins one by one and see which one causing the issue.

For details, you can read a blog post here:

    Thanks again,
