    Hi,

    I am getting this error

Error: Your cache directory (/home4/wonderj8/public_html/jesuiseclectique/wp-content) did not exist and couldn’t be created by the web server. Check /home4/wonderj8/public_html/jesuiseclectique/wp-content permissions.
Cannot continue… fix previous problems and retry.

I’m with SiteGround. Can anyone help me figure out what I’m supposed to do?
I would appreciate it very much!

Since you’re with SiteGround, you can login to your cPanel and go to the Web Application Tools, select the site you’re having problems with, press Manage next to it and then use the Fix Permissions tool. That should take care of your files and folders permissions.

The plugin store the path in wp-config.php and /wp-content/plugin/wp-cache-config.php

    Verify :
    – “define( ‘WPCACHEHOME’,” in wp-config.php
    – “$cache_path =” in wp-cache-config.php

Thank you. I had transferred my site to Siteground and there were some instances where the URL pointed to the old account, so the plugin couldn’t find the right folder. Those instances were changed and now it works!
Thank you all for your suggestions!

Hello, I’ve been hounded by messages regarding this for weeks: Preload may have stalled.‏.. Preload has been restarted.

    in error log:
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_cache_debug() in … wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/wp-cache.php on line 3167

ready to switch from wp-supercache. Any suggestions?
