• Hi, I´ve come into a problem when visiting plugins page, after renaming plugins.

I get a warning that bbpress and buddypress components were deactivated because the don´t exist.

I am using BuddyBoss theme, with bbpress and buddypress internal in this theme, I don´t have control over activating/deactivating the plugins on my dashboard so I´m not able to check or even reactivate them.

Everything seems to be working normally so far, but this error message makes me worried.

    Can you help?

    Hi,
I can check it further, do you use WordPress SingleSite or MultiSite environment?

    Thanks

Hi, I´m using Singlesite with BuddyBoss theme. The buddypress and bbpress plugins are embedded in this theme, I don´t have them installed separately

    Thanks

I can confirm that I am also having this issue or similar with buddyboss theme and plugin installed on a multisite environment and using WP Hide & Security PRO. The errors are displayed in the plugins page of the main site of the multisite network that is running the buddyboss theme and plugin (which is a fork of buddypress and bbpress):

“The plugin bbpress/bbpress.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.”
“The plugin buddypress/bp-loader.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.”
“The plugin _ has been deactivated due to an error: The plugin does not have a valid header.”

Possibly related to that, I have found the following functions of the site not working:
    – BuddyBoss/BuddyPress Profile > Edit > Cover Photo form loading, but not working; delete cover photo button missing
    – BuddyBoss/BuddyPress Profile > Edit > Profile Photo form partially loading (no drop-in, take photo, delete photo)
    – BuddyBoss/BuddyPress Profile > Photos > Add Photos button and New Album button dead (this should display a pop-up form)
    – BuddyBoss/BuddyPress Group – Manage – Edit – Photo form not loading
    – BuddyBoss/BuddyPress Group > Photos > Add Photos button and Albums > New Album button dead (pop-up form)
    – BuddyBoss/BuddyPress Group > Discussions > New Discussion button dead (pop-up form)
    – BuddyBoss/BuddyPress Messages > New Message > form not loading
    – BuddyBoss/BuddyPress Group > Manage > Edit > Zoom Integration API form not loading

In addition, the Project Panorama plugin has the following issues WITH WP Hide & Security Enhancer PRO installed:
    – Project Panorama > Plugin navigation not loading properly, showing up at bottom of page without any styling
    – Project Panorama > Dashboard Progress animation and Calendar not loading, certain links not working
    – Project Panorama > Project > Phase Progress Animations not loading
    – Project Panorama > Project > Phase Dropdown (Phase, Tasks, Documents, Discuss) Dropdown menus not working
-Project Panorama > Edit Project no loading

As a WP Hide Pro license holder, I have searched the documentation for troubleshooting tips and have written to customer support several times over the past couple of weeks, but I haven’t heard from anyone yet. I hope you guys are okay during these troubled times!

    Cheers,
    Brandon

    Hi @indigetal,
Sorry for this but we never received any message with such issues, can you try again? Since you use the PRO, use the contact form at https://www.wp-hide.com/contact/ to receive fast support, or message at contact @ wp-hide.com

Still, the issue has been fixed since a while now, can you ensure you use the latest BuddyBoss theme / plugin ?

    Thanks

Thanks, @tdgu – I’ll try to resend directly to the contact email. Yes, I am using the most updated version of buddyboss theme/plugin.

@tdgu I can confirm the same. Has it been resolved?

I have buddyboss looking into this too but I will resend to wp-hide support. I was having a separate issue with emailing them but I have since figured that out.

    Cool.

    Please Keep us updated
