# Error with autoupdate

 * I get an error when my wordpress tries to update the module to the latest version:
   
   Plugin [Gwolle Guestbook](https://wordpress.org/plugins/gwolle-gb) update failed
   from version 5.0.1 to 5.0.2. Error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function
   is_plugin_active() in /home/hundcoach/domains/hundcoach.se/public_html/wp-content/
   plugins/gwolle-gb/gwolle-gb.php:50Stack trace:#0 /home/hundcoach/domains/hundcoach.
   se/public_html/wp-settings.php(473): i

   This is an error in 5.0.1 which has been fixed in 5.0.2.
 * Is it possible for you to download the zipfile of the plugin and install it in
   Plugins > New Plugin > Upload plugin?
 * Otherwise, disable the plugin and update it while it is not activated, then activate
   it again.
 * If you cannot log in to the dashboard, it should be possible to log into FTP,
   and remove the folder /wp-content/plugins/gwolle-gb/ and afterwards, on the dashboard,
   install the latest version of the plugin.
 * Does this help you?
 * And I am sorry, I could have prevented this. Apparently you use an older version
   of WordPress and I didn’t test with that.
