Error with API key (mailchimp list subscribe form)

    When trying to setup “mailchimp list subscribe form plugin” I receive following error with the API key:

    “MailChimp List Setup

    Uh-oh, we were unable to verify your API Key. Please check them and try again!
    Rückmeldung vom Server:Could not connect (ERR 110: Connection timed out)”

    Anyone who can help? Thanks a lot!

    You need to talk with your hosting provider. They’ve done something to disable the outbound HTTP connection required.

    Alternately, give the embed code form for your list a try as it should work without them making changes.
