Error with 2 “Select icon” in admin

Hi,
since WordPress 5.4, there are 2 “Select icon” showing. Only the last is working.
Is it a bug induce by wordpress or a problem with menu icon?

Same issue here.
This is most likely since WordPress supports the extra menu fields action since 5.4:

its not a big problem, the plugin still works fine BUT its a bit annoying
any code for a quick fix ?

Hi guys,

Thanks for sharing this issue! Are you still able to replicate it? I tried replicating the issue with WordPress 5.4.1 and can’t see duplicate for the select icon. May you share a screenshot of this behavior if it still happens?

I had to roll back menu icons and re-update it, and it started working for me.

Please delete the existing menu icon plugin and install a fresh copy of it.

hi @poonam9

i have deleted the plugin and reinstalled.
the icons are still on the frontend, but the option has now totally disappeared in the backend

I’m running WP 5.4.1 and the latest version of the plugin and can’t recreate this issue. Are you able to recreate it on a fresh instance, for example, created here: https://jurassic.ninja/
