# Error while updating

 * Hello,
 * currently I’m getting this error while I try to update:
 * `Warning: chmod(): Operation not permitted in .../httpdocs/wp-admin/includes/
   class-wp-filesystem-direct.php on line 173`
 * The chmod was not changed or does it need to be changed for this update if so
   what files or folders need to be changed?

 * Please open FTP and remove the plugin from the plugins folder. Then download 
   the fresh archive again and extract it to the mentioned folder. But first make
   a backup (just in case).
