Support » Fixing WordPress » Error when uploading pictures – how to get rid of it?

  • Hi

I get this error in 2.6.3 every time I upload pictures:

“Warning: realpath() [function.realpath]: Unable to access /usr/home/web/web111385/blog/wp-admin/wp-content/uploads in /usr/home/web/web111385/blog/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1458
    20″

Anyone got a clue what the problem is?

I just installed this for the third time and this time in the older version and not 2.7 due to this error.

I have put all my files and folders in /blog, so my blog address and wordpress address are both:
    http://www.mydomain/blog
No files renamed in any way.

Most folders have while this is being worked out been put to 777, incl. WP-content and uploads.
I created an uploads folder and put it under wp-content.
    Under miscellaneous I have put:
    wp-content/uploads

Why do I get this error??

Help would be much appreciated! I have tried everything!

    Draccan
