Error when uploading files to wordpress

    I am new to wordpress and having issues uploading images to my site. I just started getting an “HTTP Error” and “Failed to write to disk” error. I didn’t get these before and haven’t installed any new plugins. I don’t know how to fix this. My files are the right size and kind. I checked the forums and they are saying how to replace all this code but I see any of that on my wordpress dashboard. Also my site is hosted by godaddy if that helps.

    Sometimes the “Failed to write to disk” error can be something as simple as a minor issue with a /tmp directory.

    Before you spend a lot of time on diagnosis, it might be worth the effort to contact your host with the error message, just to rule out any possibility that it could be something that they could easily fix for you.
