Hi all, when updating Woocommerce from 10.0.3 to 10.0.4 my site crashed. After going back to 10.0.3 everything went well again.

The messages are below. Wait for a reply, thanks in advance and regards, Kees Dobbelstein

    Hi there!

Thank you for sharing the error log. I can see that there are three separate errors:

    1. One related to the Product Quantity for WooCommerce Pro plugin by WPFactory.
    2. Another related to the WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips plugin.
    3. And the third one is related to WooCommerce itself, which indicates that the plugin may not have been updated properly. To fix the issue, I suggest reinstalling the latest version of the WooCommerce plugin. For safe testing, please create a staging site, deactivate all other plugins, and then reinstall WooCommerce there to ensure everything works correctly before making changes to your live site.

You can use the following plugin to create a staging site:

Hi, the only update this morning was Woocommerce. The rest had been unchanged. So it happened after (only) updated Woocommerce to the latest version. So i guess the problem was occurred due to this. I no need to use WP Staging, there is always a new backup available.

    Regards, Kees

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the update!

I completely understand your concern. I’m currently using the latest version of WooCommerce on a couple of test sites, and I’m not seeing the same issue — which suggests there may be something specific on your site causing the problem.

From the error logs you shared earlier, it looks like WooCommerce might not have been updated properly — some files could be missing or incomplete. There are also errors pointing to third-party plugins, which could mean that one or more plugins on your site may not be fully compatible with the latest WooCommerce version.

That’s why I suggested using a staging site to safely run a conflict test. But since you already have backups available, a good next step would be:

    1. Temporarily deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce.
    2. Reinstall the WooCommerce plugin manually to ensure all files are in place.
    3. Then, reactivate your other plugins one at a time and see if the issue reappears.

Let me know how it goes.

    Hi there!

Thank you for the update! That sounds like a good plan — feel free to take your time and run the checks when it’s convenient for you. I’ll be here whenever you’re ready to continue.

    Dear Shahzeen,

Because you wrote that it was probably caused by a not correct updated Woocommerce, tonight i manually downloaded the plugin v 10.0.4 and manually installed it by adding and activate (update) it. After this everything seems to works fine. So the only difference is that i updated it with the update link under ¨plugins¨ this morning and just now a manual install. Anyhow, it is solved now!

Thank you for your time and patience, with kind regards, Kees
