    My website is: gtklang.com

    I’m using the formandsubstance theme

In the Edit Post page, when I choose “Select Files” I get a message: “http error” or “IO error”
    When I use the
I get a string of messages like: Warning: is_dir() [function.is-dir]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/) is not within the allowed path(s): /home/qelpvrej:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/usr/local/sqmail:/tmp) in /home/qelpvrej/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1746″

and “Unable to create directory /wp-content/uploads/2009/04. Is its parent directory writable by the server?”

try changing /wp-content/uploads to 777 & see if that resolves the problem.

Also check that under Options -> Miscellaneous your setting for “Store uploads in this folder” is indeed wp-content/uploads. For some reason this has skewed on to something completely random for me on some installs.
