Hi @eizil,
All is fine on my end. Is it possible for you to create a video to show what the issue looks like and share it with us?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Herman 🙂here the video.
once copyright clicked, the setting all blank. when I see the code, there’s error like I stated earlier.
Thanks
Hi @eizil,
Thanks for the video. That’s weird indeed.
Are you using Astra latest version? If you are, please try to reinstall it and see if it fixes the issue.
Another thing I would like you to try, just in case you haven’t done it already, please try to disable all of the plugins installed on your site. If it solves the issue, then please reactivate the plugins one by one until you notice the issue comes back. The last plugin you just reactivate is the culprit.
Please let us know how you go.
Kind regards,
Herman 🙂Hi,
I have exactly the same problem. I have updated the theme to the last version, removed and installed it again, I have tried to disable all the plugins, and the same happens. It only happens when trying to edit “Copyright”, “HTML1” and “HTML2” elements, and I also tried to empty their content from the database with no success.
The error I get is from Javascript:
react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'get') at custom-controls.min.js?ver=3.8.5:1:3172657 at $r (react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9:83333) at unstable_runWithPriority (react.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9:7431) at xn (react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9:29950) at Qr (react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9:82796) at Pr (react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9:74334) at Er (react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9:72010) at ul (react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9:87836) at react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9:89304 at Lr (react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9:74807) rr @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 t.callback @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 An @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 ir @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 Br @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 unstable_runWithPriority @ react.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 xn @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 Ar @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 Pr @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 (anonymous) @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 unstable_runWithPriority @ react.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 xn @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 Nn @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 _n @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 $r @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 unstable_runWithPriority @ react.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 xn @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 Qr @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 Pr @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 Er @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 ul @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 (anonymous) @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 Lr @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 ml @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 e.render @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 renderContent @ custom-controls.min.js?ver=3.8.5:1 actuallyEmbed @ custom-controls.min.js?ver=3.8.5:1 (anonymous) @ custom-controls.min.js?ver=3.8.5:1 c @ load-scripts.php?c=1&load%5Bchunk_0%5D=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,regenerator-runtime,wp-polyfill,wp-hooks,underscore,wp-dom-ready&ver=6.0:2 fireWith @ load-scripts.php?c=1&load%5Bchunk_0%5D=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,regenerator-runtime,wp-polyfill,wp-hooks,underscore,wp-dom-ready&ver=6.0:2 set @ load-scripts.php?c=1&load%5Bchunk_0%5D=heartbeat,customize-base,customize-controls,customize-widgets,thickbox,wp-keyboard-shortcuts,wp-notices,wp-token-list,wp-wordcou&load%5Bchunk_1%5D=nt&ver=6.0:4 _toggleExpanded @ load-scripts.php?c=1&load%5Bchunk_0%5D=heartbeat,customize-base,customize-controls,customize-widgets,thickbox,wp-keyboard-shortcuts,wp-notices,wp-token-list,wp-wordcou&load%5Bchunk_1%5D=nt&ver=6.0:6 expand @ load-scripts.php?c=1&load%5Bchunk_0%5D=heartbeat,customize-base,customize-controls,customize-widgets,thickbox,wp-keyboard-shortcuts,wp-notices,wp-token-list,wp-wordcou&load%5Bchunk_1%5D=nt&ver=6.0:6 o @ load-scripts.php?c=1&load%5Bchunk_0%5D=heartbeat,customize-base,customize-controls,customize-widgets,thickbox,wp-keyboard-shortcuts,wp-notices,wp-token-list,wp-wordcou&load%5Bchunk_1%5D=nt&ver=6.0:6 x @ custom-controls.min.js?ver=3.8.5:1 focusItem @ custom-controls.min.js?ver=3.8.5:1 focusItem @ custom-controls.min.js?ver=3.8.5:1 focusItem @ custom-controls.min.js?ver=3.8.5:1 onClick @ custom-controls.min.js?ver=3.8.5:1 ha @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 B @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 (anonymous) @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 He @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 je @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 (anonymous) @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 sa @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 (anonymous) @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 Xe @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 ge @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 me @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 unstable_runWithPriority @ react.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 xn @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 ua @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 pe @ react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 Show 24 more frames react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'get') at custom-controls.min.js?ver=3.8.5:1:3172657 at $r (react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9:83333) at unstable_runWithPriority (react.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9:7431) at xn (react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9:29950) at Qr (react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9:82796) at Pr (react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9:74334) at Er (react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9:72010) at ul (react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9:87836) at react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9:89304 at Lr (react-dom.min.js?ver=17.0.1:9:74807)

Hi @gonzo2025,
It would be better and easier for all of us if you can start your own thread. You are welcome to cross-link your thread with this one so we are all aware of it.
In the meantime, are you facing the same issue if you temporarily switch the theme to a default Twenty theme series?
Kind regards,
Herman 🙂Hi Herman,
I did disable all plugins to troubleshoot before I posted this question. the problem still not resolved.
anyway how to test with default theme? if the copyright section is in Astra.
could you explain further?
Thanks a lot
Hi @eizil,
Yes, the
Copyright
element is coming from Astra. I asked you to try with a default theme to check if you have the same issue.BTW, is there any specific step to replicate this so I can try it on my dev site? Or maybe you remember the last thing you did before you face this issue? Any information would help.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Herman 🙂Hi @bsfherman
basically each time I tried to change the setting for the copyright section, it goes blank.
Other element the setting is shown, only the copyright part nothing shown (as per video).
Nothing obvious, I simply create a new account and change the password using phpmyadmin before I access the site.
all other things are normal.
Hi @eizil, sorry for the delay.
I am still not able to reproduce this on my end. If you are still having the same issue, please consider reaching out to us through our Support Portal so we can have a closer look at this.
In the meantime, please try to replicate the same on your localhost, using local server like Laragon, Wamp, Local, or something similar. See if you are able to replicate the same issue.
Kind regards,
Herman 🙂I backed up the site and install it into my localhost.
The same issue occurred.
I’m just no sure how to troubleshoot this anymore.
Since I posted this issue, Astra version updated few times already, but problem still exist.
Thanks

Hi @eizil, sorry for the delay.
Please consider opening a ticket through our Support Portal so we can look closely at the issue.
Kind regards,
Herman 🙂Hi,
after contacting support.
Seems the problem only happen with one specific user, when tested using different user, the problem didn’t occurred.
I’m still puzzle why this happen, but since I just need to create another user to solve this problem. I guess that’s the easiest solution for now.
Thank you very much.
Happy to know that you have got in touch with our support, @eizil.
The issue was indeed puzzled. However, very pleased to know that creating a different user can be used as a quick workaround.
Well, feel free to start a new thread if there is anything else related to Astra we can help you with.
Kind regards,
Herman 🙂 -
