Title: Error When Submitting Forms Last modified: August 25, 2022 --- # Error When Submitting Forms * [RadiantFreedom](https://wordpress.org/support/users/radiantfreedom/) * (@radiantfreedom) * [3 years, 9 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/error-when-submitting-forms/) * I’m encountering this error on multiple forms across multiple site I manage. * So far the pages with forms I’ve found this error on include: * [https://www.truevikingfinance.ca/get-in-touch/](https://www.truevikingfinance.ca/get-in-touch/) [https://www.truevikingfinance.ca/tell-me-about-your-business/](https://www.truevikingfinance.ca/tell-me-about-your-business/) [https://easycozy.ca/contactus/](https://easycozy.ca/contactus/) * The error seems to be that the plugin outputs a loading icon, indicating the form is not sending, however one of my clients (for the truevikingfinance site) did reply back indicating the forms were sending in spite of the feedback that they weren’t. Still waiting on confirmation on whether or not the easycozy site’s form is being received by the client. * I’ve tested with turning off W3 Total Cache in case it was a caching issue – error persists * I tried turning off CF7 Invisible reCAPTCHA in case this plugin, or Google Recaptcha itself was the culprit – issue persists. * Both the above plugins had recent updates that could predate the start of this issue. All other plugins either would not affect CF7, are not common to both sites, or have not been updated in the right time frame to be a possible cause of this problem. * Given the results of the above tests, it’s likely this issue is the result of a bug introduced in the update I installed on both problem sites on August 10. I’ve been under pressure from my clients to get their contact forms fixed and not seeing anything happen nor any sign of any bug fixes in sight. * I do apologize for that. * At any rate, I have run every test and change I can from my end and get no change, the plugin still fails to perform it’s basic functionality, which means it is absolutely a bug in the code of an update pushed out in either late July or early August, as that’s when my clients first started reporting this problem.
