    Hello Chuck,

Did you add your email address to the form on the admin?
If not, the plugin couldn’t do anything with the subscription, this is why you got the error.

    Regards,
    Pantherius

I have the same thing happening. And yes, the email address is in there. Any ideas? Thanks.

    Hello Saxophonist,

Did you delete the free version after installed the pro?
Google+ needs some configuration in your Google Account. Did you create a Google+ API Key?

    Regards,
    Pantherius

    Hello pantherius,

yes I did create the API key but I didn’t delete the free version, but it doesn’t have any form in it, and its not active.

If the issue is exists with any email address, then probably it is not related with Google+. When the email problem will solved, more than likely will works with the Google+ feature as well.

First of all, please delete the free version and try out again. If the problem still exists, you may disable all other plugins temporarily and check it again.
If the free version worked well, I don’t think it will be a major issue.

Ok Let me try it again. I’ll get back to you shortly.

    Hello Saxophonist,

After some investigation on the website, the issue caused by the free and the pro version were mixed.
If anyone has a similar issue, please follow this guide:

    – deactivate and delete the free version
    – install the pro version

If you already installed the pro version and the free still exists, then:

    – deactivate and delete the free version
    – deactivate and activate again the pro version (reactivate)

    Best regards,
    Pantherius

    Hi Saxophonist,

Happy to hear that everything works well.
    You are very welcome!

    Kind regards,

I am still having the same problem with the free plugin. Whenever an email address is submitted I get an ERROR message.

I only need the free plugin and do not need the functionality of the pro version. How can I get the free version to work?

(I have added my email address and tried deleting and then adding the plugin back)

    Hello robrob11,

First of all, check out the mail function works well in your WordPress.
Did you get any email from your website? New comment, etc.

The second option to temporary disable all the other plugins and try out the signup form again. If it is works, then any of your plugins causing conflict. You can find out which one, just reactive the plugins one-by-one.
If it still doesn’t work, change to theme to any default theme just for a quick test. If it is works, then the theme causing the issue.

By the way, just checked the plugin on my website with a new install and it is works well. Therefore I’m sure it will be a conflict only with your theme or with any of your installed plugins. Another possibility is the lack of mail() function as I mentioned above.

If the problem still exists, please send me your website URL and I’ll check it directly on your website.
