# Error when saving Template Parts

 * I get the following console error when trying to edit and save template parts:
 * POST [https://](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/error-when-saving-template-parts/?output_format=md){
   domain}/wp-json/wp/v2/template-parts/basti//new-header-2?_locale=user 403
 * On screen it simply states: Saving failed
   It started when I upgraded to the latest
   wp version, since then I’ve downgraded back to 6.2 but the issue prevails. I’ve
   tried reinstalling the theme from fresh, using other themes, deactivating all
   plugins, changing file permissions and deleting and creating a new .htaccess 
   file. But nothing seems to work.Please any insight on this problem would be greatly
   appreciated.

 * Can you try again with the WordPress version 6.3.1 released today? It contains
   many corrections concerning the Block Editor.
 * If it still doesn’t work, take a look at the error log of your hosting. Is there
   an error regarding the saving process? If so, this could be the cause.

 * No it didn’t solve it 🙁
   Tomorrow I’m back at the office and will have access
   to the hosting, I will have a look from there to see what errors pop up.Thank
   you for the advice [@threadi](https://wordpress.org/support/users/threadi/)
