# Error when Importing blog

 * I recently got my own domain yay!… so I immediately installed WordPress. After
   that, I tried importing my old wordpress blog. I selected import rss blog and
   clicked import. Sadly, the following message appeared:
 * Unable to create directory /hsphere/local/home/conjurel/gopokewiids.com/wp-content/
   uploads/2006/09. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
 * I’m guessing I have some sort of permission problem? Any idea how I can make 
   the parent directory writable by the server?

 * what am I supposed to change the permissions of? Any ideas?

 * Based on the error:
    `directory /hsphere/local/home/conjurel/gopokewiids.com/
   wp-content/uploads/2006/09`
 * It seems that I’d start at 09 and work my way up until I found the existing directory
   and start with that one (hint: it’ll probably be `uploads`)

 * Guess what guys… I did it lol. Just had to change the permissions for the wp-
   content. Anyways, if I’m trying to import a previous wordpress blog, which type
   of import should I select? I tried doing rss and it filled my blog with crap…
   I’m not going to try that one again…
