# Error when I click Login

 * Hi when I click the loging button on my blog it takes me to a blank white page
   with this error message:
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_LNUMBER in /home/content/c/o/n/conniewilson/
   html/sites/weeklywilson/wp-login.php on line 487
 * What do I do to fix it?
 * I haven’t logged in for a few days and it was working fine last time.

 * Please try following suggestions.
 * 1) Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required) using following
   URL;
 * [https://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F](https://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
 * If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the
   cause.
 * 2) If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via FTP navigate to**/
   wp-content/themes/** and rename the directory of your currently active theme.
 * This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-
   specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
 * 3) Re-upload all files & folders – **except the wp-content folder** – from a 
   fresh download of your current version of WordPress. Make sure that you delete
   the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

 * Number 1 and 2 didn’t work.
 * I don’t know what the current version is. Is it ok to just use the newest version
   4.2.2?
 * I run a couple of other wordpress sites and last time I updated one of them to
   4.2 it gave me a lot of trouble that I had to fix so I was waiting to see if 
   there would be a newer version before updating my other sites. So I know the 
   current version isn’t 4.2.
