I thought i had this fixed but unfortunately not.

I had thought it was when using a .png file instead of a .jpeg as i get some temporary relief but it’s not consistent as jpeg are also now doing the same thing.

When changing the header image i get the following error notice.

Error: Could not calculate resized image dimensions

    This happens on all templates.

I have a maximum upload of 128MB so that’s not the problem. i would appreciate it if someone can shed some light on this error.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello funstix!

Knews uses the WP internal media manager, including the image resize method. The error you are seeing is from the WP function message.

Usually the image you are uploading are narrower or taller than the header default image. Try to put this image in a small post image and tell me if it works.

Another user tells in IE8 experienced this bug, too… what browser are you using?

    Regards,
    Carles.

Hi Carles, thanks for the prompt reply.

I change the image to replicate the same size as the existing image in the template and this worked fine. So the image is now 650 x 282 pixels.

I’m using Chrome version 23.0.1271.64 which is the latest. So i guess problem solved.

As an aside i would love to see some separator lines and a Google + icon available.

Leaving that behind though i’m also like many others enjoying getting the feel of Knews.

Thanks again so much for the reply.
