This is behavior by design. A single question or match can show the scored points for that individual question or match (when it has an answer/result).
A ranking, however, has to be calculated as a whole for all questions and matches. And this requires running it from the admin. In short, whenever you enter an answer in the admin or change the outcome of a match, you need to run the calculation to have the ranking updated.

Thanks for the answer, just so i understand you correct, in the past where i just
had matches on my site and then when i inserted the result for that match, and click save it,
it per automatic. recalculaded the rank list so the points were correct, it does that today also with the match + rankink points.
BUT when i also inserted a question into my users guess, then it showed the correct point both for the match and for the questions BUT it did not take the points from the questions into the rankink points only the points from a match.
So in the future if i want my points from matches + question to be shown correct in the
ranking, then i should always run from admin the “recaluculate scores”
no matter that when i insert a match it still auto calculate points,ranking when i clicck the save button,
is that correct way to do it in the future = always use the
admin->Scoring Options->recalculate scores.

Also for matches the plugin will never calculate a ranking when you enter a result. The only thing that comes close, is that there is an option in the plugin that starts a calculation after a save. But if you cancel that calculation, or you do not have this option enabled, then the ranking will not have the new result added.
I will check tonight if perhaps the auto-calculation option has a bug. Maybe it does not initiate after a question save. Not sure, because I always disable this option in my own installs 😉

And as i wrote, the above “save” after inserted result for a match or a question
shows the correct point next to the match or questions BUT only the match point
are also calculated in the ranking point not the question point unless i manually run the
“recalculate scores” from the admin…
But thank you for taking the time to look at this for me :o)
I was unable to reproduce your problem. When I have the option enabled, it always starts a calculation when I save the answer to a question. And afterwards the points in the ranking are correctly updated.

I am trying to reset my wordpress site and reinstall everything to see if that was the reason why i had the error and you didnt, so i promise that i will return with some feed back when i know more :o)
so im not closing this question yet, but will give you an update asap
