See this link in the forums. I just came here about the same error. I have GoDaddy managed wordpress and it looks like it doesn’t work with backWPup plugin.

The last we heard, our plugin was useable on the Managed WP part of GoDaddy – Error 429 too many requests means that one user is making too many requests at one time on the server. GoDaddy support says that you can try the request again in a little while – were you guys doing anything else on your site at the same time, maybe?

    Thanks

    Hey there –

As this topic has remained for a long time, I am resolving this topic at this time. If you have a similar issue please start a new topic so we can help you troubleshoot more effectively! If you are also on GoDaddy’s Managed WP service, make sure and mention that as well.

    Thanks so much!
    Kat
