  • I’d like to report a bug of WP 2.5 RC2

In admin, the “Visit Site” button is missplaced over the “Write” link, blocking it, when no blog title is present in the settings area.

    Cheers, //E.

  • Just upgraded myself and same thing is happening. It appears to happen if you don’t have a blog title. I have a graphic as my title so I don’t have this field filled in. If I do fill it in, the button is placed correctly.

Is there any way, other than titling your blog, to fix this?

Huh. I’d never considered anybody having no title. Don’t see the point, really, as if you don’t want to display a title, you could just edit your theme. Also, having no title invalidates all your feeds…

My advice is to add a title.

That makes sense. Is there a standard place where you could edit a theme to not display a title? I’m guessing not, but don’t have any idea where to start.

    Thanks!

I figured it out. Trying before asking is always a good idea. 🙂

Could you share with the rest of us?

I posted one possible solution in this thread the other day. The thread also contains a link to other possible solutions.
