ERROR – Version 2.2.2 update breaks Total cache admin pages

Hi, the 2.2.2 update resulted in the following error on WP 5.9.3

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Too few arguments to function wp_kses(), 1 passed in …/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/Licensing_Plugin_Admin.php on line 287 and at least 2 expected
in …/wp-includes/kses.php on line 762

All Admin pages I tried throw this ( Dashboard, General … )

I think I’m having the same issue (or at least have the same underlying issue causing a different surface-level error) here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/redis-object-db-cache-causes-fatal-error-with-redux-framework/#post-15775814

I’m guessing you’re using Redis for object and/or DB caching? At that point, I’ve found v2.2.2 of W3TC is elevating PHP warnings anywhere on the site to a fatal error when Redis caching is being used (at least what I’m seeing across multiple sites running PHP 7.2.x [might be more than that; just haven’t confirmed others] with WP 6.0 with the sites then having a good amount of variety between them for the theme/plugins/etc. setup.)

@glashsix Simply rolling back to 2.2.1 might do the trick (or switching away from Redis temporarily). I have 100+ sites that could potentially be affected by this so I came up with https://wordpress.org/support/topic/redis-object-db-cache-causes-fatal-error-with-redux-framework/#post-15775914 to do a bulk hotfix until an official fix is released (keeping plugin auto-updates on where it kinda just resumes normal operation with no further action needed to revert settings back or anything.)
