# Error using comment form

 * For the longest time commenting on my blog with jetpack comment form (to allow
   people to comment with their wordpress accounts) worked just fine. For a couple
   of days now people seem to get error messages like “please fill out required 
   fields”. Other bloggers seem to have the same problem. I moderate comments manually,
   but they don’t even show up in “waiting for approval”. I get the same message
   on other WordPress blogs that use other themes. What’s going on there?

   other users with the same issue jumped on this thread in the meantime, I guess

 * I wanted to let you know that this should be resolved now. The developers have
   reverted a change that was causing this. Are you able to confirm that things 
   are working OK?

 * Thank you, I was able to leave a comment with my WordPress account on Eden’s 
   site without getting an error. Bit early to get people to test on my blog, but
   I’ll take your word for it that it’s fixed, leaving comments appears to work.
   I didn’t have the anonymous problem, so I can’t tell if that still happens.
 * Maybe one of those who experienced this can give feedback on this and then I’ll
   mark this as resolved.

 * The comment came through with name and gravatar, so the anonymous bug should 
   be resolved as well, everything seems to run smoothly. Thanks to everyone for
   their input and thanks to [@bruceallen](https://wordpress.org/support/users/bruceallen/)
   for getting that fixed.
