Yeah that looks like a solution but I look after about 100 sites โ will the correct certificate be included in the next update of BackWPUp?

Hi @duongcuong96, is there any way you can include that certificate in the next update?
This is a definite problem, at least on websites hosted by GoDaddy.com
For anyone finding this:
1. Go to “wp-content/plugins/backwpup/vendor/guzzle/guzzle/src/Guzzle/Http/Resources” in your install
2. Rename “cacert.pem” to “cacert.pem.old”
3. Upload a copy of “https://curl.haxx.se/ca/cacert.pem” to the directory
@pembo13
So you get the error when backup to Rackspace?
@duongcuong96 I had been getting that error for at least 3 weeks now (had the job setup weekly), maybe longer. But Following the steps, I was able to solve that error — at least I was able to manually trigger the job.
@pembo13
yes but I just wonder if you got this error with Rackspace only or the error happens on every others backup destination like Dropbox, Amazon S3 …
thanks!
Ah, I’m sorry.. On this particular site is the only one where I use something other than FTP (as the particular host blocks FTP traffic out) so I have no idea.
@jamieleemi

This still seems to be an issue. After the latest update, I had to reapply my fix. The existing certificate is form 2014.
